This place has a fun atmosphere, great drink menu and easy food menu. I really enjoy the vibe here and all the bartenders are super friendly. I would call this more of a local bar but if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a stop.

Basement Bar

Basement Bar has a very unique atmosphere, both inside and out. Grab a Lone Star Beer and enjoy the “World’s Smallest Honky Tonk”. While I do recommend this bar, don’t stay long. If you’re in the Stockyards you should definitely be bar hopping because there are plenty of hoedowns along Main St.

Scat Jazz Lounge

Scat Lounge is a speakeasy tucked away in a back alley in downtown Fort Worth. This place checks all the boxes; great music, tasty food, and lively atmosphere! Great for date nights, you can catch local and national jazz acts along with great service and drinks.

This place is located in West 7th’s sea of trendy bars. Serving up a plethora of margaritas and easy Mexican bar food, it is one of the last original bars on the street and is also a TCU stronghold for game day celebrations. Most of the bars on West 7th are the same cut and copied clones of each other but always a drunken good time.
